Doctors Surgery - Just across the road, although we hope you will never need this service. Doctors, nurses, chiropodists. Church of England St Mary's - Regular services, all welcome. Methodist Chapel - Regular services, all welcome. Cockfield also benefits from a very good bus service running till late at night to, Barnard Castle, Bishop Auckland, Darlington, and surrounding villages.
