Terms and Conditions

When booking you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

BOOKING: A non refundable booking fee of 20% of total hire charge is required. A booking is only confirmed when the hirer receives notification of this in writing via email or post.

The Balance of the hire money is due and payable 1 calendar month prior to the start of the holiday. Please ensure that the balance is sent to us by the due date. We reserve the right to re-book the holiday if we have not received the balance payment by the due date.

For bookings made within 1 calendar month of your holiday start date you pay the full amount on booking.

PAYMENT: Cheques / Postal orders payable to: K and J Pegram.

CANCELLATION: Any cancellation will result in the loss of the booking fee. Should the cancellation occur less than 1 calendar month prior to the commencement of your holiday start date, then the balance will also be forfeited. If the week/s cancelled can be re-let, then the balance only will be refunded. (The booking fee is non refundable).

The normal period of hire is from 3pm on the Saturday at the beginning of your holiday, and departure is by 10am on the Saturday at the end of your holiday.

THE HIRER: The hirer agrees to keep the property and all fitments, equipment and other contents in the state, repair and condition as at the commencement of hiring and to make good any damage, breakage or loss that may occur during the hire.

We have the right to enter the accommodation (without prior notice if this is not practical or possible), if special circumstances or emergencies arise (for example if repairs need to be carried out).

If in the reasonable opinion of Keith and Jill Pegram any person/s who are not suitable to continue the holiday because of unreasonable behaviour, damage to the property or significant annoyance to others, the contract may be terminated, and you will leave the property immediately when asked, in these cases Keith and Jill Pegram will not have any further liability. In this event, you will remain liable to pay the hire price and no refund shall be due.

NUMBER IN PARTY: It is a condition of your booking that the total number in your party shall not exceed the total sleeping capacity of the accommodation booked which is 4 persons.

AVAILABILITY: The booking is made on the understanding that the property will be placed at your disposal on the date stated. Should this not be the case through circumstances beyond our control (e.g. fire or damage) we cannot guarantee to provide alternative property in which case your booking fee and balance will be returned to you in full and you will have no further claim against Keith and Jill Pegram.

THE OWNERS: keith and Jill Pegram will not be liable for any accident, damage, loss, injury, expense or inconvenience to the person or property of the hirer or any other persons arising out of, or in any way connected with the hiring of the property from any cause whatsoever.

NO Smoking and NO Candles/Tea-lights or Disposable Barbecues allowed inside or in the grounds of Daisy Cottage.

Sorry NO Pets.

We operate a No Smoking and No Pets policy for your peace of mind, comfort and enjoyment. You are assured of clean and pleasant accommodation.

There is no private car parking at Daisy Cottage, however there is parking space directly in front, and to the side of the cottage.

PROBLEMS & COMPLAINTS: Every effort has been made to ensure that you have an enjoyable and memorable stay. If however, you have a problem or cause for complaint it is essential that you contact us immediately to give us the chance to resolve it. We value your custom and we want you to return!
